East Georgia Regional Medical Center offers a range of imaging services to provide patients with diagnostic and therapeutic services. The imaging and radiology services teams work with doctors, nurses and other clinicians to deliver care. Digital imaging technology allows doctors to access test results immediately, so treatment can begin more quickly.
From angiography and X-rays to complex endoscopic procedures and digital mammography, we provide a variety of imaging services delivered by knowledgeable technologists.
We offer:
East Georgia Regional Medical Center and Statesboro Imaging Center (an outpatient department of EGRMC) offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services. Imaging procedures are interpreted by board-certified radiologists of East Georgia Radiology, an independent physician group. Radiology services offer access to a 64-slice CT scanner, upgraded MRI machine and updated ultrasound machines. Statesboro Imaging Center offers 3D digital mammography, which can offer sharper images for better detection of abnormalities, and immediate storage and transfer to your doctor.
Both imaging locations are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Additionally, Statesboro Imaging Center is among an elite group honored to receive designation as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Accreditation reflects that the facility meets or exceeds the standards set by the American College of Radiology for equipment, medical personnel and quality assurance.
