Dr. Justin Rountree Returns Home to Statesboro to Join East Georgia Regional Pain Management

[Statesboro] – East Georgia Regional Pain Management is pleased to welcome back to Statesboro Dr. Justin L. Rountree, M.D., Interventional Pain Management physician.
Dr. Rountree was born and raised in Statesboro, where he graduated from Statesboro High School and received his Bachelors of Science (B.S.), Summa Cum Laude, from Georgia Southern University. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta for his Medical Degree (M.D.). Dr. Rountree moved to North Carolina at that point to do his Anesthesia Residency and earned his Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Afterward, he served as an Assistant Professor at UNC’s Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management from 2013 – 2018. Dr. Rountree is board certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Management.
Dr. Rountree specializes in interventional pain management and focuses on a variety of spine and pain issues such as back pain, neck pain and joint and arthritis pain.
Dr. Rountree and his family live in Statesboro, and are happy to be back in Bulloch County. “It feels great to be back home in Statesboro, and I’m excited to take care of the community that raised me,” said Dr. Rountree. “Statesboro is a fantastic place to live, work, and raise a family.”
