Celebrating National Healthcare Volunteer Week
4/24/2018
Statesboro, GA, – April 15-21st, 2018 happened to be National Healthcare Volunteer Week, and East Georgia Regional Medical Center spent last week celebrating and honoring their beloved Auxiliary members.
Barbecued ribs and chicken, potato salad, baked macaroni and cheese, homemade slaw, and peach cobbler were served on Wednesday evening, as Volunteers came to the hospital to enjoy a nice dinner in their honor. Each Auxiliary member took home a gift box of honey from the local H.L. Franklin’s Healthy Honey store in Statesboro.

These men and women play an integral role in patient engagement and quality care, and their presence and support makes the hospital that much stronger.
