Visiting Policies
Having family and friends visit while you are in the hospital can be an important part of your recovery process, and we welcome them. However, rest and relaxation are also important to your recovery, so we have established visiting guidelines. Certain situations require special consideration, and in those instances, our staff will accommodate your needs whenever possible.
We ask visitors to follow these guidelines:
-
Only two visitors at a time.
-
Visitors should keep visits brief and make sure not to tire the patient or interrupt patient care.
-
Visitors should not disturb other patients.
-
Smoking is not allowed.
-
Anyone with a cold, sore throat, or other contagious illness should not visit patients.
-
Children under 12 must stay in the lobby with an adult, with the exception of sibling visitation.
-
If the patient is on isolation precautions, follow the instructions on the door card. Please ask the nurse if you have any questions.
